My name is Hilary and my love of yoga started 20 years ago. Over the last four years I’ve been sharing my love of yoga with others by teaching small classes and private sessions out of my home and within the community. One of my favorite events is our Yoga in the Park in Marshalltown each summer. I love being able to interact with members of our community and give everyone a moment when they can connect back to themselves and the present moment. I believe that yoga is for everyone and it is more than physical postures. With emphasis on breathing techniques and meditation, the objective of my yoga classes are to promote both physical and mental well-being.

In the July of 2021 I achieved my 500hr RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher) and am registered through the Yoga Alliance. My curiosity has lead me to dive deeper into the study of yoga and how we can apply it in therapeutic ways.
